VectorSave™50 FTS for the DJI M350 is designed to terminate the UAV’s flight safely and reduce the risk of the UAV leaving the area where it is operating. Minimizing the possible damage that may be caused by impact energy of a free falling drone hitting people, objects or ground. This is achieved by the FTS (flight termination system) stopping the motors and PRS (parachute recovery system) deploying a parachute at sufficient altitude allowing the parachute to open before impact.
VectorSave™FTS is compatible with the Means of Compliance with Light-UAS.2511 / Means of compliance with SORA M2 (containment) published by EASA 05.05.2022
VectorSave™ PRS systems use a spring loaded parachute chamber and can therefore be used in all environments including gas leaks or chemically challenged environments. Spring technology also ensures you have no transport limitations unlike those systems which use explosives.
VectorSave™ FTS series products combine PRS and FTS. The product comes with a manual Flight Termination System trigger that uses its own radio channel. This trigger enables to initiate emergency stop for the propellers and deploys parachute for safe landing.
